Finnish-American Village Hosts Joyful Family Fun Day for Residents and Loved Ones

Laughter, music, delicious food, adorable animals and treasured time together filled the campus as Finnish-American Village welcomed residents and their families and friends for its first Family Fun Day! The event was a wonderful celebration, bringing generations together to create lasting memories in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The day featured lively, interactive music that had residents and visitors singing along, dancing and tapping their feet, and enjoying the spirit of the celebration. The petting zoo was a huge hit for both young and young-at-heart. Families spent quality time reconnecting with their loved ones while enjoying the beautiful surroundings and festive activities.

A highlight of the day was a delicious barbecue lunch prepared and served by the Finnish-American Village team. Executive Director Daniel Benson joined staff members in serving residents and their families, reflecting the organization's commitment to fostering a true sense of community and personal connection.

The Village's beloved Annan Maja was filled to capacity as guests gathered to enjoy great food, conversation, and family memories. The packed venue was a testament to the enthusiasm and appreciation families have for opportunities to celebrate together in such a welcoming environment.
