This meaningful restoration was made possible through the generous support of Finlandia Foundation, whose grant funded critical repairs that preserved the spirit and charm of this landmark. Finlandia Foundation’s commitment to promoting Finnish heritage and cultural continuity shone brightly in their support for this project, aligning perfectly with our mission to nurture community and uphold tradition.
We also extend heartfelt gratitude to Finnish Hands Outdoor Living for their expert craftsmanship. Their sturdy, thoughtful and speedy restoration ensures the gazebo remains both beautiful and resilient—for residents, visitors, and staff to enjoy for years to come.

Thanks to Finlandia Foundation and Finnish Hands, that magic continues,” said Daniel Benson, Executive Director of Finnish-American Village. Jami Wood, Assistant Manager of Assisted Living and 27-year veteran of Finnish-American Village, recalls times when “Lolly the Trolley” from Lake Worth would stop by the gazebo so residents could enjoy the sights to and from the downtown area.
The restored gazebo stands as a living symbol of legacy and goodwill—reflecting our community’s dedication to inspiring connection well into the future.
