FAV Proud to Announce of A Place for Mom’s 2026 Best of Senior Living All Star Award

Finnish-American Village, a Palm Beach County senior living community on the cusp of celebrating its 52nd year, is proud to announce that it has been honored as a Best of Senior Living All Star award winner by A Place for Mom (APFM), the leading online platform and trusted advisory service for senior care in North America.

The best of senior living honor represents the top-rated senior living communities and in-home care providers across the United States and Canada, determined by the reviews of residents and their families. A Place for Mom’s 2026 Best of Senior Living Awards recognizes the top 1-2% of nearly 45,000 senior care providers across the country for providing exemplary care and support to aging seniors.

“Finding the right senior care is a huge life decision, and we know how important gathering input and reviews from a trusted platform are to families in this process,” said Margaret Cabell, Chief Community Relations Officer at A Place for Mom. "We've amassed nearly half a million reviews on our website, including over 50,000 gathered in the past year alone. These first-hand experiences from seniors and their loved ones offer invaluable insights on the areas that matter most to families, such as quality of care, staff satisfaction, and costs."

The All Star Award reflects authentic feedback shared by families who have experienced Finnish American Village firsthand. Reviews frequently highlight the genuine kindness of staff, the clean and welcoming environment, the amazing food, and the deep sense of community felt throughout the campus. Families often note that residents are treated like extended family, with staff going above and beyond to celebrate milestones, support daily needs, and create meaningful engagement through outings, activities, and personal connections.

“We are deeply honored to receive this recognition,” said Daniel Benson, M.S., NHA, Executive Director of Finnish American Village. “This award belongs to our entire team—nurses, caregivers, dining staff, activities staff, volunteers, and support personnel—who show up every day with heart and purpose. The trust placed in us is something we never take lightly, and we are grateful that their voices and experiences are reflected in this award.”

Many reviews describe residents as visibly happy and engaged, praising thoughtful gestures such as birthday celebrations, attentive personal care, and enriching excursions to local attractions and restaurants. Families consistently express appreciation for the peace of mind they feel knowing their loved ones are safe, respected, and genuinely cared for at Finnish-American Village.
